First time at this camp and were very pleased with the entire experience. We came for their fall organized ride. The food was delicious, the staff very helpful and gracious, entertainment every night that varied from bands to wonderful group campfires, and the hall was a great gathering place to meet new friends. The campground was clean and sites were easy to enter/exit. The stalls were good size and water, shavings, etc. was easily accessed. Although I choose to keep my tack in our trailer, there are saddle racks to store your equipment in the barn. I did store feed and hay there. The shower rooms and restrooms were the cleanest I have found at any camp. My husband does not ride so he enjoyed having access to WiFi in the main hall. The trails out of camp offered a variety of riding, most are easy forest trails, but a couple offer more difficult and scenic terrain. There are miles of trails/combinations so you can ride as long as you like. A great deal of thought went into this camp and it is a great place to stay. The staff is outstanding.

Beautiful valley location with miles of trails both on private and public ground. Camp was very clean and quiet. Most of the trails are in woods and offer a variety of terrain - from relatively flat to steep (options are available for those who want more gentle climbs). Holly was very helpful and welcoming. Note if you come to the ranch from the south on County 4 from Hwy 44, check to see if the first 10 miles have been paved - currently under construction.

Second time at Cedar Ridge - they have made many improvements since the last time we were there including more trails, a nice shower house, covers over the horse pens, and a small store with horse related items. Great riding, very scenic. Owners are some of the nicest people you will meet.

First time at Cedar Ridge Trails, a new horse camp bordering Mark Twain National Forest. Trails are well marked and color-coded, additional trails are available across the Gasconade River. Lana rode with us one day and shared some of the history of the area. Lana and David are wonderful hosts, very caring and genuinely nice people. Lana told us she is laying out additional trails and they plan to put in a shower house in 2017. The trails are relatively easy but pretty with some small water falls and many pines. The Osage Indian burial site is very interesting and located on a scenic bluff trail above the river. We had heard good things about the camp and were not disappointed.

Nice facilities for horses and us humans. They just added restrooms and showers at the back end of the camp so campers in that area have facilities close. If you like single track trails ride the Jesse James and Annie Oakley trails on the ranch then focus on the Mark Twain Forest trails (easily accessed from the ranch). The staff we encountered at the ranch were all very helpful and made us feel welcomed. The lodge was a great place to play cards, listen to music, etc., in the evening.
